Furniture has been polished, food has been relocated to the swishy new fridge, carpets have been unrolled and vacuumed, satellites have been realigned, computers have been plugged in.
We’re surrounded by boxes of stuff that have absolutely no purpose but we’re finally home and we couldn’t be happier.
Only the Internet is slightly beyond our reach …

Thanks 70s! Not quite the oasis of tranquility we were aiming for, just a few more odds and ends to finish … like hallway floors, doors, lights, kitchen worktops & cupboards, bedroom ceilings, etc etc etc … *phew*

The tape measure is more of a “How long is a piece of string?” reminder whenever I ask the question, “When will this house be finished?”

Reminds me when I was stuck out in the boonies six years ago. Downloading Gig plus sized installer files over a phone line.
Did a lot of streamlining of my system and what I did online due to it.
So thankful the neighbors don’t know how to lock their WiFi routers. (giggle snort)
